DENR CENRO Lipa, nakiisa sa inisyatibong Community PlanTREES

Bilang paggunita sa ika-34  na anibersaryo ng DENR na may temang DENR@34: Celebrating a Greener and Safer Environment at Philippine Environment Month 2021, ang DENR CENRO Lipa ay nagsagawa ng isang “Community PlanTrees na may temang “Kumuha ng Kayang Alagaan, Magtanim para sa Kalikasan.”

Ito ay naglalayong hikayatin ang publiko na magsimulang magtanim ng mga “native”, bumubulaklak at namumungang mga puno sa bawat bahay, bakuran at komunidad upang matagunan ang problema sa pagbabago sa klima, kakulangan sa pagkain at mas mahikayat ang publiko upang aktibong makilahok sa iba’t-ibang programa at inisyatibo sa kampanya ng “Tayo ang Kalikasan” ng departamento.

Ang nasabing programa ay inilunsad sa harapan ng opisina ng DENR CENRO Lipa kung saan humigit kumulang na dalawang daan at limampu (250) na piraso ng “native hardwood”, “flowering” at “fruit bearing trees” tulad ng Narra (Pterocarpus indicus), Dao (Dracontomelon dao), Molave (Vitex parviflora), Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa), Ilang-ilang (Cananga odorata), Nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus), Guyabano (Annona muricata), at Cacao (Theobroma cacao) ang ipinamahagi sa mga kliyente, kalapit na opisina ng gobyerno, Local Government Unit (LGU) at mga mga pribadong indibidwal.

Nagkaroon din ng maikling programa sa pangunguna ni OIC CENR Officer Januel Peras kasama ang mga empleyado ng opisina kung saan binati niya ang bawat isa sa pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng DENR at kinilala at pinasalamatan ang hindi matatawarang kontribusyon ng bawat empleyado ng DENR lalo’t higit ng mga taga DENR CENRO Lipa sa patuloy na paglilingkod sa publiko upang mapangalagaan at maprotektahan ang ating kapaligiran at likas na yaman.

Namigay din ng mga nasabing punla sa City Hall ng Lipa kabilang na ang ilang barangay katulad ng Brgy. San Celestino, Malitlit, Talisay at Sto. Niňo, NGO at Academe noong isinagawa ang “Consultation Meeting & Planning Workshop for the Preparation and Drafting of Forest Land Use Plan for the City of Lipa.” Ang nasabing programa ay nilahukan din ni Mayor Eric Africa kung saan pinuri niya ang mga inisyatibo ng tanggapan at ang patuloy na pakikipagtulungan sa bayan ng Lipa ukol sa pangangalaga at pagprotekta ng kalikasan.

DENR PENRO Laguna, nakiisa sa inisyatibong Community PLANTrees

Naglunsad ng isang Community PlanTree: "Kumuha ng Kayang Alagaan, Magtanim para sa Kalikasan" and PENRO LAGUNA sa pangunguna ng DENR CALABARZON, kasama ang iba pang mga Field Offices sa buong rehiyon kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng ika-34 na anibersaryo ng DENR.

Ang PENRO LAGUNA ay nakapagbigay ng humigit-kumulang 2,050 punla ng mga indigenous species (Narra, Bitaog), fruit-bearing trees (Rambutan, Guyabano, Cacao, Coffee) at flowering trees (Golden Shower) sa lahat ng bumisita sa nasabing community plantree na isinagawa sa Lalakay Elementary School - Lalakay, Los Banos, Laguna.

Ang nasabing aktibidad ay pinangunahan ng Conservation and Development Section ng PENRO Laguna at ng NGP Focal Person. Ang mga ipinamigay na mga punla ay mula sa nursery ng opisina sa Calauan, Laguna.

DENR CENRO Calauag joins the Community PlanTrees initiative

𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐠'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞, "𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐡𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧" in celebration of the DENR 34th Founding Anniversary and Philippine Environment Month, June 10, 2021, held at the facade of Calauag Town Hall, Calauag, Quezon

We express our utmost appreciation to the people who assisted and supported our anniversary activity, especially to the LGU of Calauag, MENRO, MAO, BLGU of Brgy. Sabang Uno, Calauag Central College, Bahaghari ng Kala, and other barangays in Calauag, Quezon that attended this successful event.

May we continuously work hand in hand in future activities for the conservation and protection of our forests and environment.

DENR CALABARZON joins the celebration of Coral Triangle Day 2021

LOOK: The DENR CALABARZON and CENRO Lipa together with its Green Fins Members - Batangas Community Divers Seal, Inc. as NGO partner of DENR, Peoples Organization, PNP and the Local Government of Mabini, Batangas conducted a Coastal Clean Up and Scubasurero at Balayan Bay, Mabini, Batangas.

A total of 166 kg of wastes and 38 pieces of facemasks were collected by 77 volunteers. Collected wastes will be transported to the Materials Recovery Facility of Mabini then to the Sanitary Landfill of Batangas City for proper disposal.

The activity was held in celebration of the Coral Triangle Day last June 9. According to DENR4A Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria, Mabini is center of the center of marine biodiversity. RED Tamoria shared, "Napakamakahulugan po ang ating activity ngayong araw na ito dahil ito pong Mabini ang puso ng coral triangle na binubuo ng kalipunan ng pinakamalusog at pinakamaraming marine species". Because of this, numerous dive shops could be found in the area. However, RED Tamoria emphasized the roles of the local communities as well as tourists for the preservation of the area. "Subalit habang pinakikinabangan po natin sa pamamagitan ng mga ganitong activity ang ating lugar, diyan naman po pumapasok ang responsibilidad natin na pangalagaan ito para sa mga susunod na salinlahi", he said.

RED Tamoria was also the Regional Director of DENR CALABARZON when Mabini was proclaimed as the center of center of marine biodiversity. Last May 2021, RED Tamoria was again assigned to the Region.

Meanwhile, Atty. Jinky Luistro,  Municipal Administrative Officer of Mabini, Batangas shared that the province is part of the Verde Island Passage where diverse marine species could be found. Atty. Luistro also challenged the people of Mabini for the conservation of their rich marine biodiversity. "People always claim that we are the home of Verde Island Passage but ang tanong ko po ay may ginagawa ba sila at pinaninindigan ito in words and in deed?", she said as she encourages the people to participate in marine conservation initiatives. 

Coral Triangle is one of the three great ecological complexes on the planet, together with the Congo Basin and the Amazon Forest. In Southeast Asia, Philippines is among the 6 member countries of Coral Triangle.

DENR PENRO Cavite, nakiisa sa inisyatibong Community PLANTrees

"KUMUHA NG KAYANG ALAGAAN, MAGTANIM PARA SA KALIKASAN"

Bilang pagunita sa DENR’s 34th Founding Anniversary at Philippine Environment Month 2021, ang PENRO Cavite sa pangunguna ng Production Forest and Management Unit (PFMU) ay nakapagpamahagi ng mahigit 2,260 na punla ng indigenous at 1,744 na fruit bearing trees, ngayung araw ika-10 ng Hunyo sa DENR PENRO Cavite Nursery, FCIE Compound, Pueblocillo Subdivision., Brgy. Langkaan I, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. 

Ang aktibidad ay dinaluhan ng CENRO Bacoor, CENRO Imus, MENRO Silang, 401st A. Manuever Company RMFB4A at mga lokal na residente ng Cavite.
