DENR CENRO Sta Cruz, nakiisa sa selebrasyon ng Philippine Arbor Day

Ang CENRO Sta. Cruz ay nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Arbor Day 2021 sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng “Community PlanTree: Kumuha ng Kayang Alagaan, Magtanim para sa Kalikasan” at ng Tree Planting Activity.

Sa isinagawang Community PlanTree noong ika- 24 ng Hunyo, 2021, nakapagbigay ang CENRO Sta. Cruz ng 5,000 punla ng Bignai, Langka, Narra, Molave, Kasuy, Palawan Cherry at Guyabano sa mga kliyente, residente ng Sta. Cruz at kalapit komunidad. 10,000 punla din ng Bignai, Langka, Narra, Molave, Kasuy at Guyabano ang naipamahagi sa PGENRO-Laguna bilang pagpapakita sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa Programang “Greening Laguna for a Healthy Environment” para sa buong lalawigan.

Noong ika- 25 ng Hunyo, 2021, katuwang ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Siniloan at Society of Filipino Foresters Inc. (SFFI), ang CENRO Sta. Cruz ay nagsagawa din ng isang tree planting activity sa Pilot area nito na graduated NGP site sa Brgy. Magsaysay, Siniloan, Laguna.

Nakapagtanim ng 328 punla ng Molave at Narra ang mga nakilahok sa pangunguna ni In-Charge, Office of the CENRO Bernardita Daliva, Chief, CDS Elisa A. De Vera, MENRO Raymond Salay, Philippine National Police (PNP), Ahon Core, MENRO Siniloan, Striking Force-Siniloan, at mga kawani ng CENRO Sta. Cruz.

Tara, Halina’t, Sumama ka na, Protektahan at Alagaan natin ang Inang Kalikasan, Kasama ninyo ang DENR CENRO Sta. Cruz.

Rapid Land Tenure Appraisal (RLTA) program is on its third town in Cavite

RLTA is a Local Government Partnership which aims to expedite the issuance of a land tenurial instrument, particularly, land patents.

The Program was first initiated in the towns of Carmona and Magallanes in the year 2019. After a year of respite due to the Pandemic, the undertaking is on its third town in Cavite which is in Mendez.

Signing of Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA) between DENR CALABARZON, PENRO Cavite and Local Government Unit of Mendez, Cavite for the full implementation of RLTA in the said Municipality was executed on June 28, 2021.

Signatories to the MOPA were Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria and Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Alfredo C. Palencia of DENR CALABARZON Region as witnessed by PENR Officer Ronita A. Unlayao of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office-Cavite. On the other hand, the Local Government Unit of Mendez was represented by the Honorable Municipal Mayor Atty. Fredderick A. Vida as attested by Municipal Assessor Ms. Melinda S. Alegre.

DENR CENRO Batangas, nakiisa sa selebrasyon ng Philippine Arbor Day

Para sa pagdiriwang ng Arbor Day,  noong June 15 ay nagsagawa ng Mangrove tree planting sa Brgy. Lagadlagin, Lobo Batangas ang DENR PENRO Batangas sa pangunguna ni OIC, PENRO Noel M. Recillo at CENRO Lipa City sa pangunguna naman ni OIC, CENR Officer Januel R. Peras. Ang nasabing aktibidad ay inisyatibo ng DENR- CENRO Lipa na naglalayon na maipabatid sa mga tao ang kahalagahan ng mga puno sa ating kapaligiran.

Tuwing ika-25 araw ng Hunyo, ipinagdiriwang ng Pilipinas ang Arbor ng Araw ng Pilipinas alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Bilang 643 na pirmado ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Ayon sa Proklamasyon, ang pagdiriwang ay dapat na sundin sa buong bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanim ng mga puno at pandekorasyon na halaman at iba pang anyo ng mga kaugnay na gawain.

CENRO Calauag, together with Gumaca Tree Planters and Pallet Makers Agriculture Cooperative conducted a tree planting activity in the established NGP site in Brgy. San Agustin, Gumaca, Quezon, during today's observance of Arbor Day, June 25, 2021.

DENR CENRO Calaca enjoins the celebration of Philippine Arbor Day

Arbor day is being celebrated in the Philippines every 25th of June pursuant to Proclamation No. 643 signed by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo which states that celebration must be observed throughout the nation by planting trees and ornamental plants and other forms of relevant activities. It also enjoins the active participation of all Government Agencies including Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations, Private Sector, Schools, Civil Society, and the citizenry to participate in tree planting activities nationwide.

Today, the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Calaca in cooperation with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Society of Filipino Foresters Inc. (SFFI) conducted Mangrove Tree Planting activity in Brgy. Luyahan, Lian, Batangas as part of the celebration of the Philippine Arbor Day 2021.

The said activity was also participated by officials and residents of Brgy. Luyahan including the "Samahan ng Mangingisda ng Luyahan" (SAMAL) People's Organization.

In his remarks, OIC-CENR Officer  Isagani Amatorio emphasized the importance of mangroves as protection against the calamities such as storm surge.

Total of 250 seedlings of Rhizophora mucronata (Bakauan-bato) were successfully planted by 50 participants during the activity.
