DENR CENRO Lipa conducted their monthly monitoring of E-NGP Plantations by DENR CENRO Lipa Field Officials

Five (5) NGP areas were visited by OIC CENR Officer Januel Peras, CDS chief Josefa Lozada and with the participation of PSU head Loida Maglinao and ENGP focal person FT I Leopoldo Macalintal located in Brgy. San Juan, Malvar, Brgy. Bagong Pook, Malvar, Brgy. San Pioquinto, Malvar, Brgy. Banjo West, Tanauan City and Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas on July 21, 2020.

Be informed that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed in the conduct of the said activity.

CENRO Isagani Amatorio conducted monitoring on one (1) of the constructed Small Water Impounding System (SWIS) located at San Jose, Tuy Batangas.

The said SWIS was constructed last 2018 in support to the implementation of Enhanced-National Greening Program (E-NGP) contracted to Samahan ng Magbubukid ng San Jose (SAMAGSA)- our partner People’s Organization on the said barangay.

Nagsagawa ng pagpupulong ang Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) ng Binahaan River Watershed Forest Reserve (BRWFR) sa Brgy. Silangang Malicboy, Pagbilao, Quezon, noong ika-15 ng Hulyo 2020.

Sa pagpupulong na ito ay tinalakay ang Work Plan and Mid-year Accomplishment ng BRWFR para sa taong ito; manual of operations; protected area suitability assessment; final map of BRWFR; at proposed logo and building of BRWFR.

Kasama pang tinalakay dito ang ilang issues, concerns at updates mula sa mga miyembro ng board.

Tuwing ika tatluhang-buwan isinasagawa ang pagpupulong gaya nito.

The Protected Area Management Board of Buenavista Protected Landscape conducted the 2nd Quarter PAMB Meeting at the Municipal Nursery of Mulanay, Quezon. During the meeting, the following agenda were discussed: (1) Updated targets of Buenavista Protected Landscape based on Calibrated Work and Financial Plan 2020; (2) Update on the SMART and KATIGBAK Enterprise monthly User's Fee; (3) Effect of Typhoon "Ambo" within Buenavista Protected Landscape; (4) Research Proposal of Ms. Janine D. Oraa for her thesis study entitled "Carbon Stock and Biomass Assessment of Kamhantik Forest Park in Mulanay, Quezon; and (5) Result of the 1st Quarter Biodiversity Monitoring System (BMS).
