DENR CENRO Lipa conducts IEC Campaign on permits and other matters
To further improve the delivery of services to the public especially on the application, registration and transport of various wood/Forest products, this Office, headed by OIC-CENR Officer Januel Peras with LMO II/ OIC Chief RPS Basilia Katigbak, EMS Chief Flordeliza Olave, For. I Angela Brosas, FT I Ruselle Vien Singsing and PMEO Paul Xavier Medallon conducted an Information and Education Campaign on the process and requirements for securing Certificate of Verification (COV) for the transport of timber and non-timber forest products planted within private land covered with tree cutting permit and Self-Monitoring Form (SMF) for trees covered by Certificate of Tree Plantation Ownership.
Other matters discussed: DENR Memorandum Circular 97-09 or the Private Tree Plantation Registration DENR Memorandum Circular 99-20 or the Tree Registration DAO 2000-21 or the Guidelines in the Issuance of Private Land Timber Permit/Special Private Land Timber Permit (PLTP/SPLTP).
A total of 29 permitees/stake holders from the DENR CENRO Lipa AOR participated/attended the said activity.
Further, be informed that all the safety protocols and precautionary measures re: COVID 19 threat were properly observed during the conduct of the activity.
