DENR CALABARZON release of 7 heads of Brahminy Kite in Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape (MBSCPL)

The activity was held in celebration of the World Widlife Day. Before the release, the raptors had undergone rehabilitation at the Regional Wildlife Rescue Center of DENR CALABARZON in Brgy. Lamot II, Calauan, Laguna. Last December 19, they were transferred at the foot of MBSCPL to introduce and acclimatize them in the new environment.

The release of the Brahminy Kites was facilitated by In-Charge, ORED and ARDMS Nelson Gorospe, ARDTS Alfredo Palencia, CENRO Raymond Rivera of Tayabas, Lucban Municipal Mayor Hon. Ollie Dator, Lucban Committee on Environment Head Hon. Shiela De Veza, Brgy. Chairperson of Ayuti Hon. Eduardo Alamo, and Dr. Francisco Beltran of SLSU.

Meanwhile, 2 heads of Brahminy Kite were also released in Maulawin Spring Protected Landscape in Guinayangan, Quezon.

DENR CALABARZON partners with government agency to enhance knowledge on handling environmental cases

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON, through its Enforcement Division, and in coordination with a partner agency, conducts its first day of the two (2) day training on handling various environmental cases.

This training aims to capacitate DENR CALABARZON Law enforcers on procedures in conducting various environmental related cases.

MOPA sa pagitan ng DENR CALABARZON at Baras, nilagdaan

MEMORANDUM OF PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (MOPA) sa pagitan ng DENR CALABARZON at Municipality ng Baras, Rizal ang nilagdaan noong lunes, Marso 01, 2021 sa Munisipyo ng Baras patungkol sa mga gawaing Land Administration and Management.

Layunin ng nasabing MOPA ang matulungan ang kumunidad na mai-proseso at magkaroon ng titulo ang bawat lupang tinitirikan at sinasaka ng mga mamamayan upang mabigyang seguridad ang pagmamay-ari sa lupa.

Isa sa program ng MOPA and pagtataguyod ng Rapid Land Tenure Appraisal o RLTA. Sa ilalim ng programang ito, magsasagawa ng Barangay Profiling and isang munisipalidad o siyudad na nasasaklaw ng Cadastral Survey na isinagawa ng pamahalaang nasyonal ilang taon na ang nakalilipas.

Sa pamamagitan ng RLTA matutukoy ng ahensiya ang mga bawat lupang maaaring mapatituluhan. Dahil dito, inaasahang magiging maayos ang bawat proseso at aktibidad ng pagpapatitulo.

Dagdag pa rito, isang Land Management Office ang itataguyod sa Baras, Rizal na pangangasiwaan ng Rizal Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office at Municipality of Baras, Rizal katuwang ang Municipal Assessors Office at Municipal Planning and Development Office.

Magsasagawa din ng cascading o Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign sa bawat Barangay upang maipaliwanag ang kahalagaan ng RLTA gayudin ang pag-iimbentaryo ng mga lupa at pagsasaayos ng mga Cadastral Maps.

Dinaluhan ang nasabing paglada nina Acting Municipal Mayor Wilfredo C. Robles, Municipal Administrator Bienvenido L. Garrovillas, mga Miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan, at Municipal Mayor Katherine C. Robles. Kasama din sina PENRO Isidro L. Mercado, Chief Technical Services Division Ernesto M. Diso Jr at mga kinatawan ng Regulation and Permitting Section ng DENR PENRO Rizal.

DENR CALABARZON, nakilahok sa selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Kababaihan

Ang DENR CALABARZON, sa pangunguna ni G. Nelson V. Gorospe, In-Charge, Office of the Regional Executive Director at OIC Assistant Regional Director for Management Services at komite ng  Gender and Development (GAD) ay nakilahok sa malawakang selebrasyon ng buwan ng Kababaihan ngayong Marso. Ang nasabing selebrasyon ay may temang "𝑾𝒆 π‘΄π’‚π’Œπ’† π‘ͺπ’‰π’‚π’π’ˆπ’† π‘Ύπ’π’“π’Œ 𝒇𝒐𝒓 π‘Ύπ’π’Žπ’†π’", at ang kampanya ngayong taon ay "𝑱𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 π‘·π’‚π’π’…π’†π’Žπ’šπ’‚: π‘²π’‚π’šπ’‚!"

Ipinakita rin ng mga empleyado ang kanilang suporta sa pagkakapantay-pantay ng kasarian at pagbibigay lakas sa mga kababaihan sa pamamagitan ng pagkikilahok sa #PurpleMondays. Sapagkat kinikilala sa buong mundo na ang kulay Lila  ay kulay ng kababaihan at sumisimbolo ng hustisya at dignidad.

MOA Signing between DENR CALABARZON and Laguna Police Provincial Office

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON solidified its partnership with Philippine National Police (PNP) through its Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO), as they signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for intensified forest protection within the CALABARZON Region.

The agreement focuses on the rehabilitation and restoration of the 10-hectare National Greening Program (NGP) Area located in Brgy. Tala, Rizal, Laguna. This initiative is under the DENR program, β€œTayo Ang Kalikasan” and the LPPO program, Project SPLaKaM – Samahang Pulis Laguna, Kapanalig Mo at Makakalikasan.

As stipulated in the signed MOA, the LPPO shall be responsible for the 5-year Development Plan and Site Development Plan of the area. On the other hand, the DENR CALABARZON shall offer technical assistance to the other party.

Tayo Ang Kalikasan is a program under DENR which aims to restore, rehabilitate and develop the forest lands in a sustainable manner, on the other hand Project SPLaKaM aims to offer direct participation in the massive, intensive, and sustained tree growing, planting and caring activities in response to the threat of climate change and global warming.
