San Miguel Global Power Foundation (SMGPF) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - CALABARZON and Malitlit Nature Savers Association, Inc., to support and contribute to the greening efforts of the department through the Enhanced National Greening Program (eNGP) on August 9., 2023 at Lima Park Hotel, Lipa-Malvar, Batangas. 

The objectives of the said partnership were the rehabilitation, protection, and maintenance of fifty (50) hectares of the NGP site identified by the DENR for a period of two (2) years which is in Barangay Talisay, Lipa City, Batangas. This is in line with their program called Ridge to Reef Conservation Program: Project 747 (7 million trees in 4,000 hectares in 7 provinces). 

The ceremonial signing was attended by DENR CALABARZON Officials headed by Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Jose Elmer C. Bascos, PENR Officer Noel M. Recillo, CENR Officer Allan Willard M. Estillore together with SMGPF Officials headed by Mr. Danilo T. Tolarba, Assistant Vice President/Division HR Head, Mr. Rolando M. Lalo, Project Manager of Excellent Energy Resources, Inc. and Mr. Emmanuel C. Tayson, Plant Manager of South Premiere Power Corp. and with Ms. Annabelle Villapando, President of Malitlit Nature Savers Association, Inc.###
