The Asset Management Team (AMT) of DENR CENRO Calaca conducted an inspection of the areas covered by Tree Farm Lease Agreement (TFLA) No. R4A-02-96 as part of their target stipulated on the Work and Financial Plan for CY 2023.  Further, TFLA NO. R4A-02-96 was awarded/issued in the name of Green Dragon Agro-Forest Development Corp on September 25, 1996 located in Brgy. Butucan, Nasugbu, Batangas, covering an area of 490 hectares with the date of expiration on September 24, 2021. The said tenurial instrument was ordered canceled by virtue of the Cancellation Order dated October 14, 2020 issued by DENR 4A- Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo, CESO IV and affirmed by DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu dated April 27, 2021.

Activities conducted of the AMT were ground validation/inspection and processing of seamless images captured by the drones to determine the physical status of the subject area using Drone Flight Plans and Agisoft Application. To date, eleven (11) sectors identified for the forestland covered by TFLA No. R4A-02-96 was completed. Moreover, CENRO Calaca will continue to apply the processes as well as conduct ground validation/inspection to cover the remaining tenurial instruments within CENRO Calaca jurisdiction. ###
