Presidential Proclamation 1636 conducts Special PAMB Meeting

Siniloan Convention Cultural Center, Siniloan, Laguna – Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria, Chairperson and other PAMB Members of PP 1636 led the Special PAMB Meeting to further capacitate the needed approval of PAMB resolutions and certifications on March 31, 2023.

The said meeting was attended by a total of 92 participants composed of 58 males and 34 females through blended face-to-face and video conferencing.

PP1636 PAMB-Members approved a total of 14 resolutions which includes, hereunder:

1. Kapasiyahan na Pinagtitibay at Iniindorso ang Resulta ng Isinasagawang Protected Area Suitability Assessment (PASA) para sa Unnamed National Park Wildlife Sanctuary and Game Preserve (PP1636) at Kinikilala sa Pangalan na Reina Protected Landscape
2. Kapasyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-PP1636) na Iniindorso si Supervising EMS Liezl E. De Mesa Bilang Protected Area Superintendent (PASU) ng PP1636
3. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-PP1636) na Iniindorso si Forester III Felomen N. Antonio bilang Assistant Protected Area Superintendent (PASU) ng PP1636
4. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-PP1636) na Iniindorso si Forest Technician II Melba M. Perion bilang Designated Special Collecting Officer ng PP1636
5. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) na binibigyan ng Permiso ang Haribon Foundation upang Makapagsagawa ng Kaukulang Pag-aaral tungkol sa “Carbon Stock Assessment at Carbon Sequestration Assessment Makalipas ang limang (5) Taon na Matatagpuan sa Brgy. Tanauan, Real, Quezon
6. Kapasiyahan na Nagpapahintulot na Maisagawa ang Rehabilitasyon at Kongkretong Daan ng Kayaan 2 Wind Powe Project 1.1 Kilometer Right of Way sa Pangil, Laguna na Nasa Loob ng Pinangangalaang Pook (PP1636)
7. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) sa Pagtatayo ng Multi-Purpose Hall ng Sangguniang Barangay ng Brgy. Magsaysay, Infanta, Quezon na Pawang Nasa Loob ng Pinangangalagaang Pook (PP1636)
8. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) na Pinagtitibay at Iniindorso ng PAMB-1636 ang Mungkahing Management Zoning ng Unnamed National Park Wildlife Sanctuary and Game Preserve o ng PP1636
9. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) na Pinagtitibay at Iniindorso ang Komprehensibong Plano Ukol sa Pagpapailaw ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Infanta, Quezon sa Loob ng Unnamed National Park Wildlife Sanctuary and Game Preserve o ng PP1636
10. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) na Nagpapahintulot na Maisagawa ang Phase 2 Road Construction Project sa Brgy. Saray Patungong Brgy. Galalan, Pakil, Laguna na Nasa Loob ng Pinangangalagaang Pook (PP1636)
11. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) na Pinagtitibay at Iniindorso ang Bumubuo sa Iba’t-ibang Komite ng PAMB Alinsunod sa Inapbrubahang Manual of Operation ng PAMB-PP1636
12. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board na Pinahihintulutan ang Cleantech Global Renewables, Inc., sa Pagsasagawa ng Kalayaan 4 Wind Energy Project ng Pag-aaral at Pagtatayo ng Meteriological Mass sa Loob ng Protektadong Pook o PP1636
13. Kapasiyahang Iniendorso ng Pamunuan ng Protected Area Management Board (PP-1636) ang Aplikasyon ng Manila Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) para sa New Centennial Water Source-Kaliwa Dam Project (NCWS-KDP) ng Special Use Agreement within Protected Area (SAPA)
14. Kapasiyahan ng Protected Area Management Board (PAMB-1636) sa MAPUA University na Nagpapahintulot na Maglagay/Magtayo ng Weather Environment and Hydromet Monitoring System na Nasa Loob ng Pinangangalagaang Pook (PP1636).

The conduct of Special PAMB Meeting discussed urgent topic which needs immediate action of the Board. In overall, the special meeting was successful by doing their functions and responsibilities as members in order to accomplish necessary actions regarding the issues and concerns for the protection, management, development and conservation of the protected area.
