DENR-PENRO Quezon and DENR-CENRO Real, in partnership with key local stakeholders, took a significant step towards the conservation and sustainable development of the REINA (Real, Infanta, General Nakar) Protected Landscape in Quezon Province.

In a strategic meeting convened by Quezon Governor Doktora Helen Tan, CENRO Real, represented by Mr. Oliver Olivo, provided crucial insights into the implications of Presidential Proclamation No. 1636, series of 1977, particularly concerning the areas under its jurisdiction within Quezon Province.

The meeting underscored the importance of adopting a comprehensive plan to effectively balance progress and the protection of the province's invaluable natural resources in accordance with the proclamation.

Notable attendees at the meeting included General Nakar Mayor Eliseo Ruzol, OIC PENRO Quezon Officer Engr. Cyril A. Coliflores, PENRO Quezon Technical Services Chief Juliet Narte, PG-ENRO OIC John Francis Luzano, MENRO-Infanta Reynaldo Avila, and MENRO-Real Bryan Potestado.
