CENRO Real conducted a Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) activity with the members of the Bantay Dagat and 4Ps, together with the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Pamplona, General Nakar, Quezon, selected personnel of Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of General Nakar, Quezon on May 9, 2023, at the Kubo Hideaway Zone Ecopark, Brgy. Pamplona, General Nakar, Quezon. 

The said activity is aligned with the goal of the Wildlife Resources Conservation Program to ensure that the wildlife, specifically, marine turtles and their nesting sites along the coastline of the said barangay are protected, conserved, and managed.

A total of 35 participants, composed of 16 males and 19 females participated. The topics discussed were Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) or Republic Act No. 9003, Wildlife Conservation Act or Republic Act 9147, State of Wildlife Enforcement in the Philippines, and Republic Act No. 10654 amending the Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998. An Act to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing, amending Republic Act No. 8550, known as the "Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998" and for other purposes, and Coastal and Marine Management in the Philippines.###
