DENR Financial and Management Service Director (FMS) Angelito Fontanilla had a meeting with DENR CALABARZON officials, headed by Regional Executive Director Nilo Tamoria, on March 21, 2023 at the DENR Regional Office in Brgy. Mayapa, Calamba City to discuss the proposed Electronic Collection (e-Collection) and Electronic Payment (e-Payment) Systems of the department.

Director Fontanilla was accompanied by some officials and representatives from the DENR Knowledge and Information Systems Service (KISS), and FMS’ Accounting, Budget, and Management Divisions. DENR CALABARZON Assistant Regional Directors, Division Chiefs, and concerned personnel also attended the meeting.

Digitization and information technology is a priority of Environment Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, part of which is the development of an online system for the acceptance of collection and payment for all services offered by the department.###
