The DENR-Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) of Cavite was recognized as the top-performing DENR field office in the CALABARZON region for 2023.
 
Cavite OIC-PENR Officer Januel Peras, together with the Management Services Division Chief Ma. Joy Grace Sazon and Technical Services Division Chief Reynaldo Belen, received the plaque of recognition for being the BEST PENR Office in the region.
 
PENRO Cavite was also awarded as the Most Gender and Development (GAD) Responsive Office for the year. The awarding ceremony took place during the CY 2023 Year-End Assessment and Service Award and Recognition of the DENR CALABARZON on December 20, 2023.
 
DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo Tamoria, together with Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Ronita A. Unlayao, and Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Jose Elmer C. Bascos, bestowed the said awards to PENRO Cavite.
 
For two consecutive years now, the said PENRO has been recognized as the top performing DENR field office in CALABARZON. The award acknowledges PENRO Cavite’s continuous commitment and effort to accomplish and even surpass its goals and targets, in line with the overall mandate and programs of the department.
 
The awarding ceremony was part of the regional office’s continuing thrust and commitment to service excellence. ###
