Infanta, Quezon – As part of the requirements for the adoption of Graduated Enhanced National Greening Program (NGP) Site, REINA Federation conducted its first tree planting activity within the proposed area at Sitio Querosep, Barangay Magsaysay, Infanta, Quezon.
 
A total of one hundred twenty (120) participants joined the said event from REINA Federation, CENR Office Real, and other organizations and agencies such as the Local Government Unit of Infanta, ChildFund Philippines, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Infanta, Infanta Emergency Response Team, and Infanta Military Detachment.
 
Five hundred seedlings consisting of Pterocarpus indicus (narra), Syzygium polycepaloides (lipote), Citrofortunella macrocarpa (calamansi), Citrus aurantium (dalandan), Sandoricum koetjape (santol), Artocarpus heterophyllus (langka), Coffea arabica (kape) and Lagerstroemia speciosa (banaba) were planted.
 
The said GREENLIGHT Project for REINA Federation to the adoption of graduated eNGP Site within the Presidential Proclamation 1636 aims to maintain, sustain, and manage the project of the department. The partnership within the two agencies through Memorandum of Agreement is a step further to better future relation and conservation of the environment. ###
