DENR-CENRO Real, Quezon turned over a rescued Philippine hawk eagle (Nisaetus philippensis) to the Regional Wildlife Rescue Center located in Brgy. Lamot II, Calauan, Laguna.

The Wildlife Enforcement Officers of CENRO Real received a chat message from a concerned citizen about the wildlife that was found along the road by a tricycle driver at Purok Curva, Brgy. Dinahican, Infanta, Quezon. The concerned citizen gave the animal to Ms. Rose Marie Sotto who posted the wildlife in different Infanta websites to reach the authorities. Based on the assessment, the wildlife had a wound in its left wing.

Due to the non-availability of a veterinary doctor for this kind of wildlife, the wildlife was immediately brought to the rescue center for custody and safekeeping.
