In support to the nationwide observance of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women (VAW), PENRO Laguna through the Gender and Development Focal Point System has lined up activities to be conducted from November 25, 2023 to December 12, 2023 such as discussion of the campaign during Monday convocation, display of the official banner and Safe Spaces Act posters, redesigning of the GAD Corner (Orange Exhibit), dissemination of pamphlets on laws and policies about VAW, video showing, and online advocacy campaign through the use of various social media sites to heighten awareness on the advocacy campaign, and enjoining every Juan and Juana to take a stand against VAW. 

The said campaign is held annually, every 25th of November to the 12th of December by Proclamation No. 1172 series of 2006 and Republic Act 10398 or the Act declaring every 25th of November as the National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of VAW.  For 2023, the 18-day campaign will center around the recurring six-year (2022-2027) theme: “UNITEd for a VAW-free Philippines”. This aligns with the UN Women’s Unite by 2030 to End VAW Campaign (UNITE) highlighting the significant impact of combined individual efforts towards a collaborative and united thrust for a VAW-free Philippines.
