The Department of Environment and Natural Resources CALABARZON entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Guerdon Realty and Development Corporation and Kapisanang Balik Kalikasan (Kabalikat) Inc. for the adoption of the 20-hectare forestland located at Sitio San Ysiro, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City, Rizal. The ceremonial signing was held on November 6, 2023, at the Office of the Regional Executive Director, DENR CALABARZON.

The said 20-hectare land is a portion of a 1000-hectare indigenous species plantation established under the National Greening Program in 2013, located within the Upper Marikina River Basin Protected Landscape. 

 The MOA was entered into by and between DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria, Guerdon Realty and Development Corporation Chairman Emeritus Antonio E. Andres, and KABALIKAT Chairman Edwin Delos Reyes. Moreover, the ceremonial signing was witnessed by the Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Jose Elmer C. Bascos, Rizal Provincial ENR Officer Ramil Limpiada, and Technical Services Division OIC Chief Ernesto M. Diso, Jr. ###
