DENR CALABARZON'S MBSCMO4 CONDUCTS FREE FUN RUN ACTIVITY

In celebration of the “World Environmental Health Day” with the theme, “Global Environment Public Health: Standing Up to Protect Everyone’s Health Each and Every Day,” the DENR CALABARZON through its Manila Bay Site Coordinating Management Office - 4 (MBSCMO-4), conducted a free Fun Run Activity entitled, “Takbo: Manila Bayanihan Para sa Kalikasan," in collaboration with the Local Government Units of Calamba City — City Environment and Natural Resources Office; Public Order and Safety Office; City Health Office; City Administration Office; and, Officials and Staff of Barangays Palingon, Lingga, San Juan, San Jose, 4 and 6.

 

It was participated in by various government agencies and private sectors. Said participants ran 5Km within Calamba City starting from the Baywalk, Brgy. Aplaya going to Calamba Banga (Plaza), and vice-versa. Winners were Mr. Kenneth Tan from the DENR 4A (3rd Place), Mr. William A. Olam Jr. from Philippine Coast Guard Laguna (2nd Place) and, Mr. Eduardo C. Quismundo from Brgy. San Juan, Calamba City (1st Place) — who all received cash prizes. ####
