Batangas City – Information System Analyst II, Melvin Y. Ilagan represented the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Batangas during the two-day workshop on Business Process Management (BPM) which was facilitated by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Southern Luzon held at the Batangas Country Club in Bolbok, Batangas City on August 9–10, 2023.

The BPM workshop intends to provide government agencies with systematic approaches and thorough methodologies to effectively improve or develop their regulatory procedures, in line with the ARTA Administration’s directive to streamline and digitalize government processes to cut the red tape and eliminate corruption.

As mandated by Republic Act 11032 also known as Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law, ARTA will continue to assist government agencies and build capacity on Business Process Streamlining—a crucial stage in Transformative Digitalization (TDx)—to expedite President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' R. Marcos Jr.'s 8-point socioeconomic agenda on bureaucratic efficiency or digital transformation.###
