DENR CENRO Lipa is one with the nation in celebrating the National Women’s Month for CY 2023 this March. This year’s celebration banners the recurring theme from 2023 to 2028: WE for gender equality and inclusive society, with a mission to empower women by providing them with equal opportunities and capacitating them with skills. Through the creation of jobs that ultimately results in poverty reduction, this will help steer the economy to sustained and inclusive growth.

Relative to these initiatives and to generate awareness, CENRO Lipa encourages all its employees to wear purple on all Wednesdays of March. This office supports and echoes the global call to action on closing gender gaps and gathering more support geared towards economic and social transformation.
