PENRO LAGUNA supports 18-Day Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

Los Baños, Laguna – Employees of PENRO Laguna wore orange on November 25, 2022 in solidarity with the nationwide observance of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women (VAW). This campaign is held annually, every 25th of November to the 12th of December by virtue of Proclamation 1172 series of 2006 and Republic Act 10398 or the Act declaring every 25th of November as the National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of VAW.  This year’s campaign is represented by the color orange which symbolizes hope and a future that is free of violence against women and girls.

Wearing of orange will be continuously conducted every Friday from starting November 25 to December 12, 2022. Moreover, webinar on RA 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act “Bawal Bastos Law” will be held and information, education and communication (IEC) campaign promotional collateral (tote bag) will be distributed to limited number of clients and personnel.
