A 58-year-old farmer and NGP laborer known as “Kuya Oyong” cuts bamboos to produce stakes for the enhancement planting project of DENR-CENRO Calauag within Timber Plantation established under National Greening Program (NGP) in Brgy. Bagong Silang, Tagkawayan, Quezon. He endures the everyday exhaustion and exposure to intense sunlight in the mountains to earn money for his family that depends on him.
