PENRO QUEZON HOLDS FIRE SAFETY AND PREVENTION SEMINAR AND DRILL

Quezon DENR-PENR Officer Cyril A. Coliflores spearheaded the conduct of Fire Safety and Prevention Orientation and Drill in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection Office (BFP) of Lucena City.

BFP’s Fire Officer II John Kenneth C. Yema shared some ways on how to prevent fire, how to manage fire when it is already there, and what to do whenever there is fire in the office or at home. He also discussed basic fire safety, the immediate response procedures during emergencies, and the proper use of fire extinguisher. 

Actual demonstration of putting out of fire using fire extinguisher and wet cloth was conducted outside the office premises. 

Fire safety and prevention orientation and drill was an initiative of the PENRO to strengthen the awareness of its employees and to ensure their safety in case of fire emergencies.
