CENRO REAL CELEBRATES VALENTINE'S DAY WITH NATIVE TREES

The DENR-CENRO Real, Quezon personnel hugged trees within the Presidential Proclamation No. 1636 (Unnamed Protected Area) in participation of the tree hugging campaign of the Forest Management Bureau.

 

Hugging trees is one of the simplest ways to reduce stress, boost mood, enhance cognitive function, and lessen crime rate by focusing on the advantage/positive vibes and energy that trees can give. Moreover, it is a means to show appreciation to the trees for its benefits to human beings.

 

The said office, through its tree hugging activity, also aims to inspire the public to protect and conserve the trees and to join the DENR in its tree planting activities as it believes that hugging a tree is a means of multiplying life for the future generations.###
