CENRO Lipa City in coordination with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) - Southern Luzon, conducted a learning event on Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Government Service Delivery Act on September 6, 2023. This is to ensure a streamlined government service delivery in accordance with the Act.

The ARTA Team discussed the salient features of the law highlighting the “3-7-20” rule or the prescribed processing time to act on all government transactions and backlogs based on ARTA Memorandum Circular No. 2020-02 dated March 07, 2020. The team also presented the Guidelines on the Designation of a Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART)- its composition, functions and compliance. Further, ARTA Southern Luzon reiterated certain programs and services like eBOSS or the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop, the Philippine Business Regulations Information System (PBRIS) and Philippine Business Hib- emphasizing some effective measures in delivering efficient services to the public.

The learning event aims to raise awareness and understanding among employees of CENRO Lipa City about the provisions of RA 11032 including, among others, the rights of the clientele, the responsibilities of government agencies, and the new procedures and innovations for improving service delivery.###
