Lucena, Quezon – The DENR Building Construction Management Committee (DBCMC) Technical Working Group conducted a site inspection at PENRO Quezon, Lucena City, and CENRO Tayabas City on April 12, 2023. The site inspections included the evaluation of existing DENR buildings in the DENR PENR, and CENR offices.

The objective of the site inspection is to improve the existing DENR buildings, not just in terms of their facade but also their overall architecture, structure, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other systems. The DENR Official Facade, a design standard that is now being implemented in all DENR buildings nationwide, is just one aspect of the improvements being made.

During the site inspections, the DBCMC Technical Working Group evaluated the existing buildings and identified any possible issues, such as structural or system deficiencies. Other systems and details of the buildings, such as CCTV, signage, logos, lighting, emergency exits, and fire protection, were also assessed. The inspection team recommended necessary improvements to ensure that the buildings meet the required standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

The DBCMC Technical Working Group is committed to improving the functionality and appearance of DENR buildings.
