Los Baños, Laguna – PENRO Eriberto B. Saños led the singing and chanting of Pasyon in observance of Holy Week last April 4, 2023 at PENRO Laguna. PENRO Saños highly regard Pasyon as he authored the Pasyong Rizal and Pasyon ng Inang Kalikasan.

Pabasa literally means “act of reading or to read”, which involves the uninterrupted chanting of the Pasyon, an early 16th-century epic poem narrating the life, passion, death, and resurrection of Christ. For Catholics, it is a way to repent their sins and seek forgiveness from Christ during the Lenten season and is a form of meditation and expression of faith.###
