Monitoring of 208-hectare Agroforestry plantations established in the year 2021 under the Enhanced National Greening Program (ENGP) was conducted by the Conservation and Development Section of DENR CENRO Calaca. The purpose of this activity is to evaluate the current situation of the plantations and identify the needs for maintenance and protection of the planted seedlings.The said plantations are located in Sitio Matahong, Sitio Maangyo, and Sitio Kweba in Brgy. Butucan Nasugbu, Batangas, was established in partnership with three (3) People’s Organizations: Matahong Forestry Group, Maangyo Fruit Bearing Planter, and Samahan ng Magsasaka sa Sitio Kweba.
