Cavite PENR Officer Januel R. Peras together with the technical staff of PENRO Cavite represented the Office on the call for coordination meeting initiated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Silang held at the Municipal Hall. 

Hon. Vice Mayor Ted Carranza together with the Councilors of the Sangguniang Bayan, namely Ms. Ivee Reyes; Mr. Ari Toledo; Mr. Mat Toledo; Mr. Eric Cokiat; Mr. Peping Desingano; and Mr. Junjang Batingal represented the LGU during the meeting on behalf of the LGU’s Honorable Mayor, Atty. Alston Kevin Amutan Anarna.

The meeting was conducted in response to the request of the Municipality of Silang to enter into a Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA) with DENR under the Rapid Land Tenure Appraisal (RLTA) Program of the department.  

RLTA is a Local Government Partnership which aims to expedite the issuance of a land tenurial instrument, particularly, land patents.

As per agreement, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Silang will coordinate with DENR PENRO Cavite once the resolution authorizing the Local Chief Executive (LCE) to sign the MOPA is released and approved by the Sangguniang Bayan. Further, they will also work in close coordination with the Office to relay the latest developments/updates on the said partnership.
