Bermaz Auto Philippines conducted its 2nd annual tree growing activity in Siniloan, Laguna on November 10, 2023, in partnership with DENR-CENRO Sta. Cruz.

Twenty-nine participants, composed of 18 men and 11 women from the partner organization, planted 300 Cacao (Theobroma cacao) seedlings planted in the National Greening Program (NGP) CY 2018 68-hectare Coffee/Indigenous Species Plantation.

In line with the long-term vision of Mazda’s Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030, Bermaz Auto Philippines entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the DENR in 2022 under the “Tayo ang Kalikasan” advocacy for the conservation of the existing vegetation in Brgy. Magsaysay, Siniloan, Laguna. The company planted 500 seedlings of fruit and indigenous species during its 1st tree growing activity held last year.

Bermaz Auto Philippines expressed their continuous support in promoting conservation, management and development of the country’s environment and natural resources through its annual tree growing activity.

As part of the priority thrusts and directives, CENRO Sta. Cruz continuously fosters the involvement of stakeholders to take part in the implementation of the Expanded NGP within its area of jurisdiction. The foundation of partnerships represents a collective effort to attain a sustainable and progressive environment.
