DENR PENRO Cavite had an agreement with the LANDBANK of the Philippines for the online payment of visitor’s fee (hiking fee) including the collection of Integrated Protected Area Fund (IPAF) being generated in Mts. Palay-Palay-Mataas-Na-Gulod Protected Landscape (MPPMNGPL). This agreement between DENR CALABARZON and LANDBANK was approved on 23 February 2023 to accelerate the payment process of the hikers of MPPMNGPL as well as to expedite the collection and remittance of IPAF fees.

This epayment model is the first electronic payment method for the collection and remittance of IPAF in all DENR Offices nationwide. Though some regions are already accommodating payments through online transactions for several frontline services, apparently payments/collections for users of Protected Areas were not yet included.

Hence, DENR PENRO Cavite would be the first Office in DENR who will be implementing ePayment models in Protected Areas.

Hikers may now pay the hiking fees (Local Tourist - Php 200.00; Foreigners – Php 300.00) via internet using any of the ePayment models being offered by LANDBANK starting May 2023.

The park is open from Fridays to Saturdays with a maximum of 90 hikers per day. Only those who reserved and booked online will be accommodated.

María Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, the Secretary of DENR, has prioritized digitization and modernization of the department’s information and management systems, and one aspect of this is the creation of an online system for the acceptance of collection and payment for all services provided by DENR. ###
