On March 24, 2023, Forester III Flordeliza Olave, Forester I Camille Paulene Peria, and Forest Technician I Ruselle Vien Singsing presented the DENR Policies, Programs and Services during the conduct of Community Support Program (CSP) – WA/RA Operators Training for the Peace and Development Operations Team of the 59th Infantry (Protector) Battalion, 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division of Philippine Army in Brgy. Tulos, Batangas. During the activity, the significant provisions of PD 705 (Revised Forestry Code) as well as the various services, programs, and projects being implemented by the DENR Field Office were emphasized.

Also, on March 27, 2023, Forester Bea Liza Latido of the Manila Bay Site Coordinating/Management Office (MBSCMO) – Batangas shared her knowledge about Solid Waste Management and the activities under the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program. The participants were composed of Youth for Environment-Organization (YES-O) officers and teachers of Ulango Integrated School, Tanauan City, Batangas. During her talk, she highlighted topics about RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program, and Climate Change.

Moreover, Senior Ecosystems Management Specialist Josefa Lozada represented the department during the conduct of Citizen Science Workshop on Reef Monitoring on March 29, 2023 in Brgy. Bagalangit, Mabini, Batangas. SEMS Lozada shared about the activities and projects implemented by the DENR, specifically the Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Management Program (CMEMP), Green Fins, and Technical Assistance to Marine Protected Area Networking, among others.
