Water Quality Monitoring DENR-CENRO Calaca

As part of the monitoring of coastal and mangrove areas, DENR-CENRO Calaca performs water quality monitoring to analyze the physical and chemical characteristics of the marine water. The data collected is compared to a range of guidelines provided in the DENR Administrative Order No. 2016-08: Water Quality Guidelines and General Effluent Standards of 2016. The said data will be used to examine the present conditions of the marine water as well as its patterns over time in order to help the DENR better understand and manage the water resources within its jurisdiction.
