The Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) of Pamitinan Protected Landscape (PPL) held a meeting with representatives from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Rodriguez, Rizal, Barangay San Rafael LGU, and all retail store owners within PPL on March 17, 2023 to prepare for the influx of visitors in PPL this coming Summer especially during the Holy Week.

To come up with a better strategy, the whole day meeting was divided into two parts: in the morning, with the store owners along the upper trail going to Wawa Dam and in the afternoon, with the store owners located near the parking area and the road.

Located in the municipality of Rodriguez, Rizal, PPL is a protected area under the National Integrated Protected Areas System that is a famous tourist destination in the country. Some of the most popular attractions in the protected area include the Montalban Gorge, Wawa Dam, Pamitinan Cave, and Mounts Pamitinan, Binacayan and Hapunang Banoi.
