For the year 2022, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Quezon and Community Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) Tayabas City, in partnership with Quezon Power Ltd. Co.-San Buenaventura Power Ltd. Co. (QPL-SBPL) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mauban, Quezon conducted Dalaw Turo to the residents of Brgys. Macasin and Lucutan, Mauban, Quezon on July 19, 2022.

After the government lifted most of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the DENR, QPL-SBPL and LGU Mauban seized the opportunity to continue its designed Dalaw Turo-Information Education and Communication strategy. It was in March 2020 when the last Dalaw Turo activity transpired.

This community roadshow generally aims to raise environmental awareness among its stakeholders such as schools and communities in the municipalities of Mauban, Sampaloc, and Pagbilao, and the city of Tayabas.

Under the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) issued to QPL and SBPL by the DENR-Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), the companies shall collaborate with the Dalaw Turo group and shall conduct community outreach programs to share knowledge about the environment and other programs they implement.

The Dalaw Turo team composed of the above-mentioned agencies and companies believe that through this campaign, the community will be encouraged in participating in environmental protection activities and specifically be consistent in practicing the implementation of the household's waste segregation and other environmental laws.

Tarpaulin/posters were also distributed to the barangays containing the prohibitions and punishments under the Presidential Decree No. 705 or the Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines; Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000; Republic Act 9147 or the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act; and Republic Act 9175 or the Chain Saw Act of 2002.

A series of Dalaw Turo activities covering twenty-four (24) barangays within Mauban, Quezon is set to be conducted starting from the month of July to October of this year.
