Lucena, Quezon – DENR PENRO Laguna personnel gathered with other field Offices in Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City to celebrate the 35th DENR Anniversary with the theme “Pistang Pamilyang DENR Para sa Tuloy-tuloy na Pagkakaisa at Tagumpay”.

Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria led the opening remarks and welcomed everyone. The said Family Day event is part of the bigger celebration for the whole month of June with the observance of Environment Month. He also added, “Ang pamilyang DENR ay minsan din pong dapat magdaos ng ganitong selebrasyon upang magkaroon ng pagkakataon na magsama-sama”, as he recognized approximately 2000 personnel of DENR IV-A.

Aside from that, he also mentioned this is the first time again in two years of pandemic to hold a big event wherein all were able to gather. He reminded everyone that this comes with a friendly competition and an opportunity to improve teamwork, cooperation, and creativity.

Traditional Philippine games such as Kadang-kadang, Bato-Bato Pik, Bunong Braso, Patintero, Tumbang Preso, Sipa, Hilahang Lubid, and Batuhang Bola are played as part of experiencing the fun times of Pinoy games.

On the other hand, Hataw-Sayaw is the main highlight of the event that featured different choreographies of each Office. All personnel representatives were able to show their talent, skill, and culture that gave excitement and surprise to all the attendees.
