The Regional Multi-Sectoral Forest Protection Committee (RMFPC) headed by its Chair Manuel A. Beloso, Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) of Quezon ; recently conducted their 2nd Quarter meeting last May 25, 2022 at the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City.

DENR Regional Executive Director, Co-Chairperson RMFPC, Nilo B. Tamoria was represented by   DENR OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services, Alfredo C. Palencia, together with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officers of the 5 provinces; Representatives from the other Provincial Government ENR Officers and various representatives from other Government Agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry,  Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health IV-A (DOH IV-A), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH IV-A), Philippine National Police of the Tingloy Municipal Police Station, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency IV-A, Naval Intelligence and Security Group South Luzon and academe member Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), Director, Dr. Francisco N. Beltran also participated in the meeting.

The committee members presented their agency’s efforts in support of the implementation of laws, provincial, and municipal/city ordinances on environmental protection.
