CENRO Calaca, Conservation and Development Section, headed by Forester Elizabeth Galit, conducted Marine Turtle Nesting Site Assessment last February 9, 2021 at the Municipality of Lemery covering 4 Barangays specifically, Brgy. Sambal Ilaya, Sambal Ibaba, Wawa Ilaya, and Wawa Ibaba.

This activity is in line with Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Management Program.
