Tanay, Rizal - More than two thousand government officials from CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, NCR, and the private sectors joined the first Plant Run activity of the Civil Service Commission at YES City, Brgy. Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal on September 17, 2023.

The event highlighted the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).  Atty. Karlo Alexie B. Nograles, the CSC Chairperson led the planting of the 3,166 fruit-bearing, bamboo, and indigenous seedlings within the 3-hectare portion of the YES reforestation area in Kaliwa River Forest Reserve (KRFR).

The proceeds of the activity will be given to the family members of government workers who died in the line of duty through the provision of one-time financial assistance and scholarship opportunities..###
