208 soldiers of the Philippine Army led by Commander Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong of the 2nd Infantry "Jungle Fighter" Division planted 1,500 fruit-bearing trees including Rambutan, Caimito, Coffee, Langka, and, Cacao in three (3) hectares planting site portion of Military Reservation in Brgy. San Andres, Tanay Rizal.

The Tree Planting Activity is part of the celebration of their 47th founding anniversary with the theme "Kaagapay sa Kapayapaan, Katahimikan at, Kaunlaran sa Katagalugan." and a project launching entitled “Raising One Million Fruit-bearing Trees” which will run from 2023-2028 in support of PBBM’s environmental protection and food security program.

Joining the activity, Tanay Youth members, MENRO-LGU Tanay representatives, and Rizal Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Offices (PENRO) with Forest Extension Officers and Forester Allan Jay Viado to facilitate the ceremonial planting.
