DENR CENRO Catanauan participates in earthquake and fire drill

CATANAUAN, QUEZON- The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted an earthquake and fire drill in CENRO Catanauan, Quezon on May 16, 2022 under the supervision of FO3 Emil Brian Rodil and FO1 Carl Anthony Etreros.

The activity was started by an orientation and discussion on the step by step procedures when earthquake and fire will happen inside the Office. Afterwards, an actual drill was conducted and participated by the CENRO Catanauan personnel by doing the “drop, cover, and hold” and actual use of fire extinguisher to suppress the occurrence of existing fire. Said activity was conducted to ready, familiarize and re-enforce the personnel on the proper action in case of the said situation and teaches the evacuees to follow evacuation routes in the event of earthquake and fire. ##
