DENR PENRO Rizal, thru its Monitoring and Enforcement Section, conducted an Orientation on ENR Laws, participated by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officers of Rodriguez and Tanay, Mr. Leonilo Aguha and For. Suzette Villanueva, respectively, and representatives of the 80th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army led by Battalion Executive Officer Major Ruben Ayroso.

The said activity aimed to discuss several important topics related to the apprehension of undocumented forest products and wildlife, as well as discussion on other pertinent laws such as Republic Act 9147 or Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act and Republic Act 7586 or the National Integrated Protected Areas System Act of 1992. Several other issues with regards to investigation and apprehension were also raised by the participants that were then answered by the resource speakers of the said event.

Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Ramil R. Limpiada emphasized the importance of such meetings in order to improve the coordination of all involved agencies towards the proper execution, implementation, and enforcement of Environmental Laws within the Province of Rizal.
