Led by Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo Tamoria, 20 newly promoted and appointed employees of the regional department took their oath of office on December 29, 2021 at the DENR Regional Office in Calamba, Laguna.

In his message, Tamoria challenged the new and promoted employees to show their knowledge and skills by the coming year. "Ipakita ninyo ang inyong husay at talino upang tayo ay maging top spot pagdating sa accomplishment ng targets at model Region naman sa larangan ng innovation at out of the box thinking," he said, emphasizing the height of the expectations that the DENR main office have from the regional department.

He also pointed out to them that, as government employees, they should always remember and practice the DENR core values such as Discipline, Excellence, Nobility, and Responsibility. "Lagi po nating isipin na tayo ay mananagot sa publiko. Kaya’t isa-isip at isagawa natin ang lahat ng makapagbibigay sa atin ng karangalan bilang government employees," he said.

DENR CALABARZON Assistant Regional Directors for Management and Technical Services, Ronita Unlayao and Alfredo Palencia, respectively, also graced the event to witness the oath taking ceremony and to give their inspirational messages. The heads of the offices where the above employees will be assigned, were also present during the event.

The said employees will start to report for duty with their new positions on January 3, 2022.
