Los Baños, Laguna – On 24 January 2022, PENRO Eriberto B. Saños paid a courtesy call on Municipal Mayor, Hon. Antonio L. Kalaw of Los Baños at his office to establish rapport and discussed areas for collaboration within their respective offices.

During the meeting, Mayor Kalaw committed his full support to the PENRO Laguna and assured that the municipality is more than willing to provide assistance most especially in the environmental protection endeavors within the municipality. In return, PENRO Saños pledged to also involve and prioritize the municipality in its major programs and projects like processing of titles of government properties.

Mayor Kalaw personally asked PENRO Saños to help them secure titles specifically for lots being utilized by the municipality such as the public market and Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Issues concerning Dampalit Falls, Tadlac Lake and utilization of groundwater particularly resort owners within Los Baños were also tackled.

Also present during the courtesy meeting were General Services Officer (GSO) Ambrosio P. Lapis, Designated Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) Lizette D. Cardenas, Municipal Assessor Oliver B. Manaig, Consultant Dr. Antonio J. Alcantara and Senior Forest Management Specialist Mitchell Lachica.
