PENRO Laguna in collaboration with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Los Baños recently held an office-wide fire drill and seminar on earthquake preparedness, as part of its emergency preparedness measures and in observance of Fire Prevention Month themed “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa”. 

The said activity was part of the PENRO’s emergency management initiative, aimed at equipping and assessing the readiness of personnel to ensure utmost safety within the office premises, particularly during earthquake and fire-related incidents.

The fire drill seeks to instill in employees the essential safety protocols during fire incidents, enhancing their emergency preparedness to mitigate injuries. Through realistic simulations, PENRO personnel were challenged to showcase their firefighting skills and execute swift and effective evacuation procedures.###
