Two personnel from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Real, Quezon were recognized during the opening of the photo exhibit of the DENR Central Office titled "Alagad ng Kalikasan: The Untold Stories of DENR Environmental Defenders" on September 19, 2022.

Forest Technician II Rexmel B. Telan and Forest Ranger Windel A. Adornado, along with 10 other DENR field personnel from other parts of the country, have been recognized as DENR frontliners who exude unwavering commitment while protecting and defending the country’s natural resources.

Held in line with the celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the photo exhibit aims to raise awareness about the frontline services of the department, recognize its frontline workers who are usually exposed to work hazards, and inspire excellence and genuine love for the environment among DENR employees. 

DENR Head Executive Assistant Jose Joaquin Yulo Loyzaga; DENR Undersecretary for Field Operations – Luzon, Visayas and Environment, Atty. Juan Miguel T. Cuna; DENR Assistant Secretary for Human Resources, Strategic Communication and Sectoral Initiatives, Hiro V. Masuda; and Dr. Carlos Primo C. David from the Office of the DENR Secretary, were present to formally open the exhibit. 

The said exhibit will be until September 30, 2022.###
