DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria and Tagaytay City Mayor Hon. Abraham N. Tolentino signed a Memorandum of Agreement to establish the City Boundary Monuments of Tagaytay and upgrade Geographic Information System Aerial Photo of the City last September 15, 2022.

The collaborative agreement aims to ascertain the territorial jurisdiction of Tagaytay City and its adjacent cities and municipalities. As such, DENR CALABARZON shall assign qualified personnel to provide technical assistance in the execution of the political boundary survey while the City Government of Tagaytay shall allocate funds for the project.  

The signing ceremony was witnessed by DENR CALABARZON In-Charge, Office of the Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services in concurrent capacity as OIC, Assistant Regional Director for Special Concerns For. Jose Elmer C. Bascos, Cavite Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) For. Januel R. Peras, and Surveys and Mapping Division Chief Engr. Edgar S. Barraca. ###
