A total of 1,000 tree seedlings (200 guyabano, 150 cacao, 150 coffee, 200 banaba, 200 bitaog, 100 balobo) were planted in the area through the support of almost 400 representatives from AFP, PNP, BFP, BUCOR, EPETF,  families of PNPA Kaagapay Class of '96, Baras LGU, ENRA Frontline Course participants, and local media.

DENR Undersecretary for Special Concerns Edilberto Leonardo reiterated the importance of protecting the watershed.

Inspection of the guards and troops deployed in the area was also conducted by the Rizal Provincial Police Office.

The said activity was held through the initiative of the DENR CALABARZON in partnership with the DENR Office of the Undersecretary for Special Concerns, and PENRO Rizal.

The activity was also graced by DENR USec for Special Concerns Edilberto Leonardo, Environmental Protection and Enforcement Task Force Executive Director Nilo Tamoria, Bureau of Corrections Director General Gerald Bantag, DENR 4A Regional Executive Director Nonito Tamayo, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Alfredo Palencia, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Nelson Gorospe, Rizal  PENR Officer Isidro Mercado, PENRO Rizal Technical Services Division Chief Ernesto Diso, and DENR 4A Licenses, Patents, and Deeds Division Chief Olivia Bejo.

Continuous and close monitoring of the site will be enforced to ensure the growth of the species planted. ###
