The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON, through its Conservation and Development Division with the assistance from the Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group collected pledges in line with the 22 Actions for Biodiversity all around CALABARZON this May 22-24, 2023.

The International Day for Biological Diversity (IDBD) is celebrated every 22nd of May. This year’s theme is "From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity”. This year’s celebration aims to elicit actions in support of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) that was adopted last December 2022.

The KMGBF has identified 23 global targets that need urgent actions to achieve significant progress for the environment.
