The Protected Area Management Office for Taal Volcano Protected Landscape (PAMO-TVPL) participated in a lakeshore clean-up activity last January 27, 2023 in celebration of Zero Waste Month. The activity was participated in by 182 participants – 74 males and 108 females – mostly coming from the city of Tanauan and municipalities of Cuenca, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, and Laurel, Batangas. A total of 115 sacks of solid wastes were collected. The five LGUs provided garbage trucks to transport the collected wastes into their Material Recovery Facilities.
