DENR-CENRO LIPA RECEIVES BEST CENRO AWARD FOR CY 2022

During the 2022 Year-End Assessment, Service Award, and Recognition Program of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON on December 22, 2022, the Office awarded its top Provincial and Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (PENRO and CENRO) for accomplishing their 2022 goals and targets that contributed to the achievement of the Department’s mandate and programs in Region IV-A. Through the efforts of the (Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence) PRAISE Committee of DENR CALABARZON, the awarding is part of the office’s continuing commitment to respond to one of the Human Resource mechanisms which is granting of rewards and recognition to deserving employees and offices. The PRAISE is designed to encourage innovativeness, efficiency, and integrity in public service.

During the culmination program, DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria awarded the Best Organizational Office or Model CENRO to CENRO Lipa City. Moreover, Cartographer I Myla A. Melo of CENRO Lipa was given a plaque of recognition for achieving the highest number of Residential and Agricultural Free Patents processed/issued for the year 2022. The DENR CENRO Lipa also received another plaque of recognition for attaining the highest revenue generation for the year 2022.  The criteria for the said awards were Office and Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) Rating (50 points), overall Office Management (30 points), compliance to assignments given by Top Management (10 points), and leadership and governance skills (10 points).

RED Tamoria commended the awardees to continue to give their best not only in accomplishing their targets but most of all, to practice efficiency and decency in implementing the programs and projects of the DENR.
